Nucoxia 120 for toothache

Nucoxia 120 is a brand formulation containing etoricoxib, a selective cyclooxygenase-2 inhibitor in the non-steroidal anti-inflammatory drug group. Toothache can arise from decay reaching the pulp, a cracked tooth, gum infection, an abscess, trauma, or inflammation around a partially erupted wisdom tooth, and the tablet cannot repair these tissues or drain infected material.

Do not combine etoricoxib with another anti-inflammatory painkiller such as ibuprofen, naproxen, or diclofenac unless a prescriber has specifically instructed you. Check the packet and your medical history with a pharmacist or prescriber before taking it, particularly if you have heart or blood-vessel disease, high blood pressure, kidney or liver disease, a stomach ulcer, are pregnant, or take blood-thinning medicine; meanwhile, avoid very hot, cold, sweet, or hard foods and keep the area clean.
