Day White is a dentist-dispensed carbamide peroxide whitening system used in custom trays to lighten natural tooth enamel.

The peroxide gel is worn in fitted trays for a prescribed period, usually at home. It breaks down some stain molecules in enamel, but does not change crowns, veneers, or fillings.

A dentist checks the enamel, gums, decay, cracks, and restorations before making trays. Use the prescribed gel amount and wear schedule, and pause if strong sensitivity or gum irritation develops.

Arrange an examination for toothache, bleeding gums, or one tooth that has darkened. Report persistent sensitivity, gum burning, or swelling instead of continuing treatment.
