What can cause tooth pain during pregnancy?
Pain can arise from inflamed pulp inside a tooth, a cracked restoration, exposed dentine, gum inflammation or infection around the root. Pregnancy can also increase gagging, reflux or gum tenderness, but it does not identify the dental cause by itself.
What information should you give the dentist during pregnancy?
