Gum deep clean toothbrush

A soft-bristled toothbrush can remove plaque at the gumline, but it cannot replace professional removal of hardened calculus below the gums.

Brush twice daily with a small soft-bristled head angled toward the gumline. A dental professional removes calculus that brushing cannot detach.

Use gentle short strokes, clean the outer, inner, and chewing surfaces, and use interdental brushes or floss where spaces allow. Do not force bristles into sore tissue.

Arrange an examination for bleeding, swelling, persistent bad breath, gum recession, loose teeth, or tenderness that does not settle with careful cleaning.

Ask whether deposits are above or below the gumline, whether pocket measurements are needed, and which brush and interdental size fit your mouth.
