Denture brush gum

Clean the denture with a dedicated soft denture brush, and clean the gums, tongue, and palate with a separate soft toothbrush after removing it.

A denture brush is shaped for acrylic teeth and the denture base, while a soft toothbrush suits oral tissues. Acrylic can scratch with abrasive toothpaste, and heat can distort some dentures.

Remove and rinse the denture, brush every surface over a basin of water, then clean the mouth separately. Store it as directed and never adjust it with tools.

See a dentist if the denture causes a sore spot, slips, cracks, or becomes hard to insert, or if tissue beneath it is red, bleeding, or burning.
