Anal bleaching is a cosmetic procedure for uneven pigmentation of the external skin around the anus, not a dental treatment.

It uses a clinician-selected lightening method on external perianal skin. Before-and-after images can vary because skin tone, pigmentation pattern, lighting, healing, and treatment technique differ.

Ask a qualified medical clinician to examine the skin first and identify irritation, infection, dermatitis, or another condition. Follow the prescribed preparation and aftercare, and avoid applying household bleach or unlabelled acids.

Seek medical care for bleeding, marked pain, blistering, ulceration, pus, spreading redness, fever, or a pigment change that appears without a cosmetic treatment. Persistent itching or a new lesion also needs examination.
