Crest 3D Whitestrips are adhesive strips containing a peroxide whitening gel that contacts the front surfaces of natural teeth.

The peroxide breaks down some color molecules in enamel and dentin during the instructed wear period. Strips cannot whiten fillings, crowns, veneers, or other restorations, and may not correct every intrinsic stain or an isolated dark tooth.

Read the directions, keep gel off the gums, and use strips only on suitable natural teeth. Stop for gum irritation or strong sensitivity, and have pain, cavities, recession, or restorations assessed before continuing.

Ask a dentist about persistent sensitivity, gum soreness, uneven color, or a tooth that remains dark. Evaluation is appropriate before whitening with untreated cavities, cracks, gum disease, or exposed roots.
